A private space for two

Together.
for the two of you.

A small, quiet app that lives between two phones. No followers. No feed. No strangers. Just the shared rhythm of one relationship.

iOS 16 and later Apple Sign In End-to-end private
What it is

A room only two people can enter.

Together is built for the inside of a relationship — the small things you'd never post anywhere. A shared status. A song to send. A list for the week. The phase of the month. That's all. That's the whole app.

Status

One word, one feeling. So they know without asking.

Plans

Anniversaries, date nights, the dentist. Quietly synced.

Lists

Groceries, films, places. Add, cross off, repeat.

Cycle

Tracked together, gently. Phases, not surprises.

A look inside

Four tabs. Nothing else.

Together opens to one of these and stays out of your way. No tab bar full of features you'll never use — just the small handful that belong between two people.

Most apps want everyone.
This one only wants you two.
— Why we built it

Yours, and theirs.

Pair your phones once. Then never think about the app again — just open it when something quiet wants to be said.

Privacy

What I hold, and what I don't.

Built solo by Victor Rosu in British Columbia, Canada. Your data stays between you and your partner — never sold, never shared.

I'm Victor Rosu, an independent developer based in British Columbia, Canada. I built Together as a side project — it's just me. If you're in BC or anywhere in Canada, your data is governed by BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you're in the EU or UK, your relevant rights under GDPR are covered below too.

01 · What I collect and why

Together needs some of your information to function. Here's exactly what, and why:

Your identity. When you sign in with Apple, I receive a unique identifier tied to your Apple ID, and optionally your name if you allow it. You also choose a display name inside the app. These are used to identify you to your partner and route data correctly.

Everything you put in the app. Your status messages, notes, calendar events, list items (date ideas, movies, music, wishlist, bucket list, secret notes), and food wheel choices are stored in Firebase so they sync to your partner in real time. That's the whole point of the app — none of this is collected for any other reason.

Your cycle phase. If you use the cycle tracking feature, that information is stored and shared with your partner inside the app. This is health data — I treat it as sensitive. It's never used for anything beyond displaying it to your partner, and it's never shared with anyone else.

Your push notification token. To send you notifications (new status, "Miss You" nudge, new list items, calendar events), your device's push token is stored in Firebase. It's not used for marketing or tracking.

Timestamps. Timestamps on your content help the app figure out whose update is most recent. That's their only purpose.

What I don't collect: location, contacts, browsing behaviour, advertising identifiers, or any analytics about how you use the app.

02 · Who sees your data

Your partner — and only your partner. The app is designed so your data is shared with exactly one other person: whoever you linked with.

As the developer, I have administrative access to Firebase for things like fixing bugs or keeping the servers running. I don't read your content. In the event of a legal obligation requiring disclosure, I would comply with applicable Canadian law, and notify you if permitted to do so.

03 · Third-party services

Firebase (Google) handles the database, authentication, and push notification delivery. Your data lives on Google's servers under a data processing agreement that prohibits Google from using it for their own purposes. See Firebase's privacy policy.

Apple handles Sign In with Apple and delivers push notifications through APNs. See Apple's privacy policy.

I don't use any analytics services, ad networks, or data brokers. I don't sell your data to anyone.

04 · Data retention and deletion

Your data stays in the system as long as your account exists. If you delete your account through Settings → Delete My Account, everything is permanently deleted — your user record, your couple's shared data, and all list items. This can't be undone.

If you unlink your partner without deleting your account, the shared couple data persists until both accounts are deleted.

05 · Your rights

Under BC's PIPA and Canada's PIPEDA, you have the right to know what personal information I hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion. Most of your data is visible and editable directly inside the app. For anything else, reach out to me directly.

Under GDPR (if you're in the EU or UK), you additionally have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact me first though — I'm easy to reach and happy to sort things out directly.

06 · Health data

Cycle phase information is treated as sensitive personal information. It's collected only with your knowledge, used only to display it to your partner within the app, and is deleted along with everything else if you delete your account. It is never disclosed to third parties.

07 · Children

Together is not for anyone under 13. I don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has used the app and created an account, contact me and I'll remove the data immediately.

08 · Changes

If I make changes to this policy that meaningfully affect how your data is used, I'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, I'll try to notify you through the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.

09 · Questions or requests

I'm a solo developer and easy to get in touch with. I'll respond to privacy requests within 30 days, as required by Canadian law.

Contact

Say hello.

Together is a tiny team. Your message comes straight to us — no help desk, no ticket system, no canned reply.

Have a question, a feature wish, or something you'd just like to tell the people who made this?

The best way to reach us is over email. Write as much or as little as you like — we read everything, and we try to reply within two business days.

Or send a note from here

It lands in the same inbox.

Sent. Thank you.

We'll write back soon — usually within a day. Keep an eye on your inbox.

A name (or a nickname) helps.
We'll need a valid email to reply.

Something not working?

Tell us what happened — even a short note helps. The more you share (device, what you tapped, what you expected), the faster we can fix it.

No login required. Optional fields are, well, optional.

Got it. Thank you for writing in.

One of us will read your report and write back. If we need more detail to reproduce, we'll ask.
